December 15, 2011 - We woke up and enjoyed ourselves at the hotel. The kids loved the all you can eat breakfast followed by swimming. After we took a little rest we decided to head to the Madison Children's Museum that we have heard so much about. Noah is climbing through the ribs of some sort of creature.MaKayla is playing in a village. This was a really cool climbing wall that the kids could then slide down. The ultimate favorite by Mr. Noah was the car that you could climb off it to "outer space" according to him anyway. MaKayla is painting on a glass wall. This was pretty cool. The kids could talk to NASA, or so they thought. My favorite was the upper desk where they had a hands on area with some live critters. MaKayla was very brave and held a milk snake. She held a Gardner snakeShe even held a mouse that ran up her arm and gave her a kiss on the cheek. They planted grass seeds and they were able to take some of the fully grown grass and feed the chickens. It took Noah a little longer to warm up to some of the animals but he eventually did warm up to the mice. He did not have any interest in the snakes though.Cutie pie!MaKayla says she is "Mary" hereNoah is making "apple juice"I was very impressed with the Madison Children's Museum. We will definitely be visiting again. We bought a year pass that will allow us to visit all the children's museums. We have on that is close to us. It will be a nice indoor activity when the weather is bad. On our way back from dinner we went through the light festival. The kids had a good time! The capital at nightThe kids talked Daddy into swimmingIt has been a long day! We have been trying to get Noah to go poppy on the potty for a long time with no success until tonight! WAY TO GO BUDDY!!!!! We promised him a car if he would go. He has been tinkle potty trained for a long time and even stays dry and night so this was the last part we had to tackle. I hope he keeps up the progression! Sorry if this just totally grossed you out!December 16, 2011 - As promised we took Noah to the store to let him pick out a car. Well, he ended up getting a whole box of cars. We have been trying for so long to hit this milestone that I didn't mind since we finally achieve it! Way to go buddy keep up the good work!
