Once Upon a Time!

May 15, 2011 - MaKayla was snuggled up to Daddy again this morning. I thought this picture was funny with the way that MaKayla is sprawled out and with a watch on both ankles and wrists.

Our church had another family outreach event called, "Once Upon a Time". One of the things that drew us to this church is that it is so family oriented. Our first time attending was when they had an event called, "Fishers of Men". The kids came home with fishing poles, gold fish (was not too happy about that one), and a positive outlook at wanting to go to church. The kids called it the fish church for awhile after that. Because of all the events our church has more than double in the less than two years we have attended.

Noah loved the bounce house with a slide. He wouldn't bounce though he ran straight through to the area where you have to climb up for the slide.

MaKayla waited in line for what seemed like forever for a shot at hitting her brother in jousting. They were really too small for it and just fell over.

There was a small petting zoo sponsored by a local attraction. Noah especially liked the baby ducks and rabbits.

Time to leave "Once Upon a Time". The church did a fabulous job once again offering a family outreach event to the community. The kids had a great time. I was happy to see that the rain held off on Sunday.
