October 27, 2011 -
MaKayla's ultrasound showed what they think may be kidney stones. She was referred out to a specialist at the Children's Hospital in Madison. We had our appointment yesterday but the ultrasound never made it to Madison. Since Andy works in Madison during the week we stayed the night with him. The kids loved staying at a hotel, going out to eat and swimming. This morning we hung out at the pool and rested at the hotel. Before heading home, I took kids to the Henry
Vilas Zoo. While we were at the zoo, a nurse from the Children's Hospital called to say that the doctor reviewed the ultrasound and would like to have it redone in Madison. We will be going back in December.
It was a little cool and looking like it was going to rain but the zoo is free so we thought we would give it a try.
The kids thought it was funny to watch the giraffe trying to get grass.
We didn't get to stay to play too long because it started to rain.
After this picture I was running while pushing the stroller trying to get to the
entrance before we were all soaked.
