October 1, 2011 - MaKayla asked for animal cupcakes for her birthday party. They ended up being a lot of work but it was fun. I think they turned out cute! MaKayla's favorite was the elephants.

MaKayla was very proud of her cupcakes and couldn't wait to show her friends!
The birthday theme was Littlest Pet Shop. We made all the food animal related.
Kitty food was Goldfish crackers. Bunny food was veggies and dip. Bird food was gummy worms.
Mouse food was crackers and cheese. Elephant food was circus peanuts. Puppy food was Scooby Do gram cracker biscuits.
Noah and MaKayla had to sample some of the food before the guests arrived.
MaKayla entertained her friends in her room while we waited for everyone to arrive.
We played lots of games and crafts. The first game was a ring toss.
Next, was animal bag toss.

Noah was the only boy among all the girls. MaKayla told Daddy and Noah they were the only two boys that were allowed at her party.

We lucked out and it was beautiful weather! The kids had a blast playing games outside.

We had a little time left before the parents were due to arrive so we went back outside to play. The girls loved climbing on Andy. How many can ride on his back at the same time?
They were all trying to wrestle him at the same time. It was fun to watch the girls all giggling.

Early in the evening, I found the birthday girl in her pj's sleeping on her bedroom floor. All the excitement tired her out!
