Happy Halloween!

October 31, 2011 - MaKayla had a Halloween Party at school and wore her costume. She is a cowgirl riding a unicorn.
She picked her own costume and put it together. She is very creative!

Noah wore his "Race Car Driver" costume.

Noah is a funny little boy who can always make me laugh.

All ready for Halloween!

Parents were allowed to come to the Halloween Party so Andy and I both join. We let Noah tag along. The kids are doing a "Monster Dance".

Story time

Sitting quietly

Ms. Jennifer is telling the kids all the different activities they will be doing.

The first station was decorating pumpkin cookies.

Ms. Jennifer invited Noah to join the class. He was such a "big boy".

At snack time each child dishes their own snacks and pours their own drinks.

Each child was given a pumpkin to decorate at home as a family and to return to school. Can you pick out MaKayla's kitty pumpkin? I will give you a hint: it has lots of purple sparkles and a white tail.

MaKayla is a very good student and listens without interrupting!

After school, it was time to get ready to go trick-or-treating. Our first stop was Mike and Bev's house next door.

The kids decided the best way to get to the most houses quickly was to have Daddy pull them in the wagon.

The kids are picking out their treats from Paula's bowl.

Noah loved all the "puppies" he saw!

We ran into MaKayla's friend Lillian from school while we were out.

Noah really enjoyed trick-or-treating this year!

Getty up cowgirl!

Lets go speed racer!
Emma ended up catching up with us for awhile. Our kids are die hards and didn't want to quit!

My friend Nikki dressed up for the occasion!

Our last house was Lou's. The kids loved her crazy hair.

Carving Pumpkins

October 30, 2011 - Today we carved pumpkins together as a family. We had lots of little critters outside so we couldn't do it too soon before Halloween. MaKayla was a pro at cleaning out her pumpkin.
Noah didn't like the feeling on his hands.

Daddy, Noah and MaKayla are having fun cleaning their pumpkins.

Noah finally got over the "gooey" feeling.

MaKayla didn't need much help

Daddy taught MaKayla how to poke the holes to transfer the pattern.

Little Ham!

I helped Noah get started with poking the holes of his pattern.

Noah did a great job finishing it all by himself.

MaKayla did all her pattern by herself.

Working hard!

Thumbs Up!
