Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all of you! Happy Birthday Jesus! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and were able to reflect on the true meaning of the day. It was a wonderful and busy Christmas for us. It ended up lasting three days long and I was exhausted by the end!

I think this is just adorable with Noah looking up to his Big Sister!

I can’t believe this ended up being our only family picture at Christmas!

Mommy and Daddy with Noah on his first Christmas. MaKayla wasn't in the mood for taking pictures!

I love this picture of MaKayla laying on her tummy drawing with her princess dress on.

The Morris women rule!

Aunt Katie is reading the Christmas story to MaKayla and Rylee. I bought this cute pop up book that we will read each year to the kids on Christmas day.

Andy’s brother and our niece Rylee were able to make it home for Christmas this year! It was nice having the whole Morris family together. This is only the second time in the seven years that Andy and I have been together. It made it extra special. Here is a picture of Rylee and one with Daddy with Noah.

Grandma Baker and Great Grandma Johnson with Noah on his first Christmas!

Uncle Michael and MaKayla are playing the drum together while he and his girlfriend sing and play the guitar and drum for us after dinner. They are both very talented!

MaKayla got this cute frog tent from Grandma Baker. She likes to play inside and says that she is “froggy food”.

Santa brought MaKayla and Noah the Little People Nativity Set. Daddy was telling MaKayla the story of Jesus and playing with her. This is a great way for little ones to start to understand about our Lord and Savior!

Many Firsts!

December 8, 2008 – Noah is able to sit up by himself for the first time. It seems like he is able to do something new everyday. I love watching him learn and grow!

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow!

November 30, 2008 – We had lots of snow today! Winter is definitely here! I couldn’t wait to take the kids out to play. I love the change of seasons! MaKayla had a blast making snow angels, eating snow and running around. Noah looked like a stuffed blue marshmallow and couldn’t move too much. He did enjoy swinging though.

Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree!

November 28, 2008 – Our family tradition is to cut down our Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. It was a beautiful day for it! Sunny and cool but not freezing, yeah!

Poor Noah was stuck in his car seat. He kept poking his little head out like a gopher.

MaKayla helped Daddy cut down the perfect tree!

MaKayla had to ride her favorite horse “Peanut” again this year.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at my sister Jen’s house. The food was delicious and the gathering was even better! We have so much to be thankful for this year! God has been so good to us! Here is quick list of our top 10 things that we were Thankful for in 2008:

*The birth of our beautiful son Noah! God has been good and blessed with another miracle!
*My step Mom was diagnosed with Breast cancer and they were able to get all of it with surgery. She was diagnosed with Level 1 which we are thankful for, it could have been much worse! We would appreciate your prayers and she continues her radiation and hormone therapy!
*Continued good health for Andy, MaKayla, Noah and I!
*I lost my job and God is providing for our needs!
*The ability to spend more time with my children!
*Andy received a promotion and once again moved up the corporate latter of ABC Supply Co.!
*Watching our children grow, develop and hit new milestones!
*Wonderful family and friends!
*Our God Daughter Grace! There have been prayers for this sweet little girl and she is finally here and healthy!
*All of our home improvements are finally complete … YEAH!!!!! No, Andy will not be starting a new project. At least not until we move to the Appleton, WI area. With Andy’s promotion comes relocation for us as well! This is bitter sweet for us!

Our God Daughter

November 23, 2008 – Andy and I had the honor of being asked to be Grace’s God Parents. It is such a privilege to be asked to help guide Grace in the path that God has planned for her life. We celebrated Grace’s baptism with our dear friends Becky and Craig!
