June 11, 2011 - The day has finally come! MaKayla was so excited! We took lots of pictures at the house before we left. Would you expect anything different? Daddy had to leave early because he has 3 dances in all 5 recitals.
She is showing us some of her moves. She is quite the performer!

Daddy Dance #1Daddy in his first of three dances. He is on the far right sitting on someones back driving the bus. MaKayla asked Daddy to be in the Daddy dance again this year. Of course, he said yes to his princess! He was asked by the owner to dance in a guy girl dance as well. He ended up dancing in three dances and in all 5 recitals.

This dance was awesome! The owner got the idea from a performance from America's Got Talent. The guys did amazing! Andy was a ball for the second guy.
They finished learning this dance literally the night before the first recital.

Andy's Dance #3The girl/guy dance that Andy was asked to dance in. The learned a lot during this dance and had to do a lot of lifts!
Andy's partner was sixth grader named Audrey. They worked well together and both did a great job!
The end of the 3 hour long recital! Andy scooped up MaKayla for her bow on stage.
I am so proud of both my dancers!
Everyone couldn't wait to see MaKayla after the recital.
MaKayla was spoiled with flowers and gifts.

MaKayla loves to pick flowers so we got her a ballerina shoe flower vase.
We also got a figurine that we put the information on the recital on the bottom.

Grandma & Grandpa Morris, Aunt Katie & Aunt Vickie stayed the night to enjoy more time with the kids.
Noah is pushing Aunt Katie's buttons with his favorite word, "buttcrack".
They were all playing in the play house. It was too cute! MaKayla gave everyone dolls to hold while Noah went around pretending to put lotion on everyone.
It was quite funny watching the adults walking bent over to get out of the play house.
MaKayla and Noah slept in a frog tent up in our bedroom so that Aunt Katie and Aunt Vickie could sleep in their rooms. It took a long time for the kids to finally go to sleep!
