June 10, 2010 - Ever since the Winter Olympics,
MaKayla has been asking Daddy to take her ice skating. Daddy took some time off work so we could do individual things with each kid. I was instructed by
MaKayla that I could come to take pictures only. Andy has not skated in 20 years and I was impressed that he did not fall one time. Daddy is lacing up
MaKayla's skates.
They started out with a beginning skating device but
MaKayla decided she didn't need it after the first few minutes.
She did great on the ice!! The lady at the desk only charged us $8 for the two skate rentals and time on the ice because she said that little ones only last about 10-15 minutes. Well, that was not the case with
MaKayla. We were there over 1 1/2 hours and we had to drag her away. They were impressed on how well she did. Maybe we have a future Olympian!
Taking a little break for Daddy's sake
By the end she was even letting go of Daddy's hands. My little girl is getting so big! After ice skating, we took her to McDonald's and spent some time with her.
