March 2, 2011 - Noah had his first swim lesson today. He is in a parent tot class with Daddy at the YMCA.
Noah did awesome!
He had so much fun with Daddy that he didn't want to get out of the pool. MaKayla and I watched. Here classes is on a different night. I was hoping to get them on the same day but it didn't work out.
My big boy!
Daddy was asked not to throw him so high. I think he scared the young life guards.
Noah did great for his first lesson!
February 20, 2011 - We woke up to another dumping of snow! MaKayla wanted to help Daddy clear the driveway like a baby kangaroo.
We let Daddy handle the task at hand while we watched out the windows.
Daddy had a late start to the day for work and thought it was a perfect opportunity to take MaKayla with him since it was a short day. MaKayla has been asking him for awhile, "when can I go to work with you." I thought for sure that she would get bored and he would have to bring her home early. That was far from it. She didn't want to leave at the end of the day.
February 14, 2011 - The kids woke up to find "Bugems" that we left for them.
We made cookies on a stick to celebrate the occasion. Both of my kids love to decorate cookies.
Noah losses interest quickly and starts eating the frosting and cookies.
I don't think he even finished one cookie before sampling.
Grandma and Grandpa Morris sent Valentine packages to the kids.
The excitement of what is inside is to much to take =)
MaKayla was happy to see some new craft items.
Noah was happy with his new cars.
Time to enjoy our hard work.
Yummy!
We had lots of fun decorating everything in hears and kisses today! We even made heart shaped pancakes and sandwiches. I love make the holidays special with the kids. Hopefully I will pass on some new family traditions that they can do with their children some day.
The temperate on Valentine's day had warmed up enough to start melting Frosty. He has started to do a back bend.
February 13, 2011 - We were finally able to build our first snowman of the season. We have had tons of snow but this is the first day that it was wet enough to pack. We made it a family event.
The kids were so proud of their snowman!
Frosty!
February 11, 2011 - I took the kids to the YMCA on the other side of town. I was told they had a really cool gymnastics area for kids and they were right! the kids had a blast running and jumping. Noah loved the foam pit.
MaKayla loved jumping off the trampoline into the foam pit.
Here they are playing on a slide.
Once Noah finally decided to work up the courage to jump off the trampoline, I couldn't get him to stop. He just needed a little reassurance by holding my hand before he made the plunge.
January 30, 2011- Noah filled up his sticker chart with 25 stickers in a hurry! He really wanted to go back to Funset Blvd for a day of fun.
Noah's favorite ride was the train
MaKayla loved the carousal
MaKayla played the dancing game and did a great job! The dancing lessons are really paying off!
Noah is riding the bat mobile
We celebrated with a giant cupcake! I just hope he keeps up with the potty training progress!
