Happy Memorial Day!!!

Thank you to those who are currently serving or have served our country! Our freedom does not come freely and I appreciate those of you who serve our country! I would like to personally thank my Grandpa Johnson, Grandpa Ted, Andy's brother Mike and my brother-in-law Stephen!~

May 28, 2010 - Our favorite place to spend Memorial Weekend is Up North!! Andy and the kids are enjoying the view from Nana & Papa's dock

It didn't take Caden long to catch the first fish! What a bass! Great job buddy!
May 29, 2010 - Enjoying a relaxing day at the lake. Everyone but me is out on the lake during this picture.
Daddy, Noah and MaKayla take to the pedal boat
We had a visit in an arrangement by the front door of the cabin. A mother dove and her two babies. She was such a good Mom that she would not leave her babies sides even when we were only a couple of feet away and within reaching distance. I was really impressed!
MaKayla is enjoying a ride with Nana
Noah is making his way back down to the lake after going up for a snack
Sitting around the camp fire
May 30, 2010 - We took the kids to a place that offers miniature horse rides. It was an awesome experience. It was only $5 for a 20 minutes ride through a trail that we took on our own. The horses would sometimes become a little naughty and stop for a snack. Noah would yell at his horse when he did this and say, "No, No, Naughty!"
Noah was a natural and hung on tight and moved with the horse. Both of the kids loved it so much that we went a second time.

A close up of the dark purple lilacs. They smell as pretty as they look!
May 22, 2010 - Andy is working on the tile in the play fort.
May 25, 2010 - I picked up a bike for Noah at my daycare provider's garage sale. He has not figured out how to pedal yet but he will learn quickly.

Happy 2nd Birthday Noah!!!

May 16, 2010 - Noah turned 2 years old!! He loves Thomas so we thought it was appropriate to give him a train table for his birthday. We covered it with his table cloth from his party.
First he found the present that the Birthday Fairy left for him.
The Birthday Fairy left him a race station for cars. He loved it! He played with it forever before even wanting to open his gift from us.
Noah is investigating his new present under cover
This train table is awesome!!! I highly recommend it! The Thomas brand is so EXPENSIVE so we decided on the Imaginarium brand at Toys R Us. The Thomas Trains are compatible with the table and so much cheaper. It goes on sale a few times a year to $100 dollars. It is very well constructed and sturdy! We were surprised on how well it was designed for the money. It is every bit at good as the Thomas Train Table and hundreds of dollars cheaper.
A bird's eye view
Taking a break to fuel his tank
Of course, we had to have birthday cake. We saved a couple of cars from his cake for today.
Enjoying a sweet treat with Daddy MaKayla has to test it for her approval

Noah wanted to ride on the "tractor" so Daddy obliged
While Daddy and Noah were busy on the tractor, MaKayla and I tried out her new gardening tools. She helped me plant my Mother's Day flowers.

Noah is riding on the neighbor's tricycle. We are lucky to have neighbors with kids right across the street that we have become friends with. The kids run back and forth between our homes.

And more bubbles!
Emma and MaKayla have become very good friends!
