Leafs, Leafs and More Leafs!

November 28, 2009 - We love having a large wooded lot. But with lots of trees comes lots of leafs! MaKayla is helping Daddy clean up the leafs.
Hmm, well maybe she is supervising more than she is helping!
Noah wanted to get in on some of the fun!
Andy's parents came up and spent the night with us. We all went out to dinner and had a good time!

November 29, 2009 - We decorated the tree. MaKayla put her ornaments on all by herself. It was cute to see her cluster the ornaments together.

Oh Christmas Tree!

November 27, 2009 - In the middle of the night (1am), MaKayla woke up and was having trouble breathing. It seemed to me an ashma attack. It got so bad that I took her to the ER while Andy stayed home with Noah. It was so scary to see our little girl gasping for breathe! Once I got her to the ER her breathing was pretty much back to normal but I took her in anyway. They did a chest and neck Xray which didn't reveal anything. After a few hours they just sent us home. We ended up getting home at 5:30am. I put her to bed with Andy and went out for a little black Friday shopping deals In the afternoon, we went our yearly tradition of the day after Thanksgiving tree hunting. Noah loved running through all the trees and having us chase him.
MaKayla got tired of walking and wanted to be carried. I am sure she is worn out from last night.
Here we are in front of or Frasier Fur.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! We have so much to be thankful for this year! Andy, myself and the kids are all together without Andy having to travel like he used to. Praise God! We have good health, a roof over our head, food and good family and friends. What more could we ask for? November 26, 2009 - This Thanksgiving was quite and relaxed. We decided not to travel to Illinois. This is our first Thanksgiving without family. It was also a first for me to make a turkey. Since there were only 4 of us I scaled down the Thanksgiving feast. We had turkey, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, croissants, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie. It was delicious! We enjoyed spending quality time together as a family.
Noah enjoyed his dinner but then again his favorite thing to do beside playing with cars is to eat!

Noah is giving me a silly giggle.
My little Princess dressed herself. I love her different patterns combined.

Hot Rod Shop Get a Floor Coating

November 7, 2009 - Andy put the professional floor coating on the hot rod shop this weekend.
It is hard to tell by this photo but it turned out awesome! It looks like granite.

November 8, 2009 - The shed is completed and now Andy has began creating the platform and stairs to the kids play fort above the hot rod shop.
November 22, 2009 - The stairs and platform are complete. Now we have to wait for the log railings to be shipped to us which we have been told could be a little bit. It doesn't look like this project will be completed before the snow flies like he had hoped.
