August 28, 2009 - MaKayla finally went tinkle at home, YEAH! It took much coaching but she has finally done it!

Nail Mishap

August 22, 2009 - The shed project is coming along. Andy has started to build the walls.

There was a slight hiccup in the day when Andy accidentally ran a nail all the way through his finger. He pulled it out instantly and insisted that I get something to clean it so he could get back to work. I cleaned it the best I could, wrapped it up and sent him on his way. All I can say is that he is one strong man!

Here is MaKayla helping Daddy. She is in charge of safety inspection to ensure that another nail incident doesn't happen again.

August 18, 2009 - Aunt Katie and Patrick came for a visit. Here is a picture of Aunt Katie and Noah together. I didn't get a picture of it but Aunt Katie and MaKayla practiced ballet together.

A Big Milestone!!!

August 5, 2009 - MaKayla went tinkle on the potty for the very first time, YEAH! Of course it had to be at the babysitter's house and not at home. Oh well! We celebrated by going to Toys R Us and letting her pick out a toy as we have been promising for quite some time now. She picked out a Princess dress up kit.
She certainly is a beautiful Princess!

A Visit with Vickie & Nick

August 1, 2009 - Andy sister Vickie and her husband Nick came to visit and see our new house. It was a beautiful day to show off MaKayla's bike riding skills. She recently has mastered riding a bike all by herself (with the help of training wheels).

Big Brother & Little Sister

August 2, 2009 - Project #1 before the building begins.

Noah learned to draw with the soap crayons. He also learned that they don't taste very well!

MaKayla is always dressed up as a Princess is seems these days!

Project #1 Started!

Aug. 8, 2009 - Andy started the first project at our new house. That didn't take long! He is adding a shed to the workshop. The size is 12' x 14'. He poured the cement and finished it all by himseld. That is a big undertaking for one person to do solo! Great job hunny!

We made our seal on the deal with the kids and Ike's foot prints and our hand prints. I will show you how it turns out later!
